Terry Schacht is a freelance food stylist who specializes in advertising, billboards, magazines, motion, restaurant chains, cookbooks and consumer goods packaging. An avid recipe developer with over 20 years experience, Terry has worked for several large consumer goods companies including Black Diamond Cheese and Authentikos Yogurt.
A George Brown graduate with honours, Terry has disciplines in both chef/culinary as well as degrees in baking techniques and Patisserie. Terry’s early years were spent honing her skills at the King Edward Hotel and at the Park Plaza Hotel as a pastry chef before starting her own custom cake business. Wanting to utilize all of her training and artistic skills, Terry turned her efforts into food styling in 1998.
Working as a stylist for notable restaurants such as the Holt Renfrew Café, Pickle Barrel and Lonestar, Terry applies her passion for food and attention to detail on every project.
